Score-Boosting Tactics

• Brake before the sharp bends, not during them. Carrying too much speed into a curve sends your hull skidding wide, and correcting that mid-drift costs way more time than a quick tap on the brakes ever would.
• Learn the shape of each course before you worry about your lap time. Some tracks bend hard right after a straightaway, and getting caught off guard there once is usually enough to teach you the hard way.
• Try out a few different boats instead of sticking with the first one you unlock. Handling varies more than you'd expect, and a hull that drifts smoothly on one map can feel sluggish and stubborn on another.
• Hug the inside line on curves whenever the water allows it. Shaving even a boat-length off your turning radius adds up across a full lap.
• Keep your thumb light on the throttle through choppy sections. Full speed looks great for about two seconds before it sends you bouncing off course.

Racecourse Boat drops you onto a stretch of open water carved into a proper racing circuit, buoys and all, where the only thing standing between you and a good time is your own steering hand. There's no story dressing it up, no cutscenes slowing things down — just you, a boat, and a track full of curves designed to punish anyone who mashes the gas without thinking. Multiple levels keep the layouts fresh, and a small garage of boats means the way your craft handles a drift changes depending on what you're piloting. The goal is simple on paper: finish the course, ideally without spinning out three times along the way.

Control Scheme

• Use W or the up arrow to accelerate forward.
• Press S or the down arrow to slow down or reverse out of a bad angle.
• Steer left and right with A/D or the arrow keys, easing into turns rather than snapping them.
• Combine throttle and steering together to drift through wider bends without losing your line.
